I’m new to the portal. How do I create an account?
Welcome! All new users can create their account to request access here. The steps are simple: complete the form, keep an eye on your email for account confirmation, then log in as a registered user.
Please know that our team manually approves all account creation requests and sets up your profile. This means you may not have immediate access to your account as soon as you complete the form. Our team will reach out via email with login instructions.
What if I support multiple schools or sites?
The more schools and sites the merrier! Feed Our Future resources are designed so that multiple schools or sites can use them to teach students about fresh, health and local foods.
Materials are clearly labeled and organized within the resource portal:
- Early Care and Education Sites: Some materials are tailored specifically for Early Care sites and/or Family Child Care Homes.
- School Districts: Some materials are designed for specific age ranges (K-5 or 6-12).
Can I share materials with parents and caregivers?
Many Feed Our Future materials are designed for parents and caregivers. Resources such as recipes, activity sheets and family-friendly resources support learning at home and are available on our website.

What are Grower and Local Food Business Storytelling Toolkits?
The Grower and Local Food Business Storytelling Toolkits introduce students to growers and local food businesses who supply fresh, local produce and foods for their school meals! Students will build a connection with local growers and food entrepreneurs through fun and colorful trading cards and posters.
What are Harvest of the Month Kits?
Harvest of the Month Kits introduce students to the fresh, local produce served in their school meals. Each season and month spotlight a produce item available during that season. Students will develop positive relationships and form healthy mindful food habits through educational materials including posters, stickers, pins and other fun and colorful promotional assets.
What are Teachable Moment Kits?
Teachable Moment Kits help students learn more about the growers and local food businesses supplying food to their school meals. Each kit highlights a grower or food entrepreneur and the item they supply to schools. Students learn more through food maps and other fun and interactive materials like coloring sheets, wordsearches, and fun fact sheets. These kits can be used beyond the cafeteria to the classroom!
