Feed Our Future®, working with Ohio Schools Council and other partner school buying cooperatives, has pioneered a farm to school bid process that supports local food procurement in school districts across Ohio. Our procurement dashboard shows the real investment school districts are making in Ohio’s agricultural economy through every day purchases.
The procurement dashboard visualizes local and regional food purchases between school districts and farmers and food producers dating back to 2019. Our goal is to provide insights into supplier relationships, local procurement efforts, spending patterns, and farm to school food distribution. Our interactive map can help you understand the farm to school supply chain in Ohio, network with neighboring school districts, and food system partners, and assist in strategic planning for your district’s farm to school procurement goals.
