Food Leaders Alliance

For students who are passionate about fresh, local food.

Be the change in your school! As a Food Leader, you use your voice to bring tasty, healthy, local foods to your cafeteria menu.

The Food Leaders Alliance is open to students in Grades 6-8 who like food, leadership, and making a difference.

Better Food Starts with YOU!

Here’s how Food Leaders make an impact.

Help add more fresh, local food to your cafeteria menu.

Learn about food & where it comes from with local experts.

Lead school-wide change and inspire your classmates.

Share the mission with stickers and other cool swag.

I want to be a Food Leader to teach my friends the importance of healthy and local food.

Share Your Story on Social Media

Whether you’re a YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram fan, or you can’t let your Snap streak end, it’s fun to share what you’re up to on social media. As a Food Leader, you can spread the word about how you’re making changes at your school. Keep these top tips in mind:

      • Only post on social media if you’re allowed! And don’t use social media while in school.
      • Always ask classmates, teachers, or other Food Leaders before you take a picture of them or record them.
      • If you post, tag @feedourfutureohio on Instagram. Use the hashtag #FoodLeadersAllianceOhio to share what you’re doing at your school.
      • Think before you post. Don’t post or share messages, pictures, or videos you wouldn’t want the world to see.
