Comparing Local Food Use Among Schools
What are the differences between schools that serve local food daily and those that don’t? Comparing the characteristics of schools participating in Farm to School programs and those not taking part reveals key differences and possible areas of improvement. This study looked at county level per capita income, school district size, state level educational attainment and other factors to determine how to improve local food access.
